Hmm... These past few days...

LOTS of things happened these few days... Just that I didn't really have the time to blog...

Well last week I met up with Min, Wei Jian, and Kok Quan to go to West Coast Park. It was good to see Min again after such a long time. (Think I last saw her at the O'level results day...). Well we took a cab to West Coast from West Mall after eating our lunch. The weather didn't look good that day... When we reached West Coast, the sky was already very dark... Didn't really get to do much there before the rain came... We took shelter in Mac/McCafe at the entrance of the West Coast Park. We all knew the rain wouldn't stop so we took a cab (again) to Jurong Entertainment Centre to ice skate! It was fun to ice skate again XD although Min, Kok, and I spent most of the time teaching Wei Jian how to skate or to keep him balanced XD. We went to play pool after ice skating... Once again, I had problems with the 8 ball... I always do... Its like a curse or something... Anyways, I don't play pool often (maybe once every 2-3 months?) so I don't mind losing or getting trashed. Wei Jian was the best. So was Min XD. Her "skills" improved alot! Last time I saw her play pool, she couldn't even hit the ball XP. Great improvement Min! XD. Okay, so after pool we all decided to go back home. A fun day really, except for the fact that the rain had to ruin our West Coast Park plans...

Hmm okay, now for yesterday's post...

It was Michelle Ching's birthday party yesterday but I had Chemistry remedial first in the morning... All we did in Chemistry remedial was the mock exam... 4 hours of "torture" (even Mr. Liau admitted that it was torture to us XD)... Thank got he cut the time short. Chemistry mock paper really helped me. There were some questions I REALLY couldn't recall and stuff (I didn't study for the mock exam =P). Now I know my weaknesses in Chemistry. After Chemistry, I had to rush back home, get changed, take a quick shower, pack my bag, then leave for Michelle's birthday party. Was supposed to meet Shao Wei or C.Y. and Abu but they were both late so I went by myself all the way to Pasir Ris MRT staion from Bukit Batok... The train ride was oh my god... Around 1 hour... I think... I just managed to reach the MRT station on time and found Michelle and Pearl. Then I saw Yvonne and San Joy so I joined them instead because Michelle had to go around the station looking for people. Around 30 minutes later, Abu, Hafizah, and C.Y. joined us too. We (the band group excluding C.Y.) decided to leave for Coasta Sands Resort earlier than the other groups. We got there only to play 2 quick game of pool before C.Y. called us off... Our band group went to Coasta Sands by ourselves again. The resort was the place where I had my church camp when I was younger so I knew the place and stuff. There were many groups so we kinda only talked among ourselves. After singing Michelle the birthday song, seeing her blow off the candles (which lit up again and again like for 7+ times; cool candles huh?), and after seeing her cut the candle we had to leave. I had to catch the last bus and stuff so our group left the party like super early. Nice party though XD. I still wanted to eat so we chilled at BK before going home. Talked about some funny-as-hell things XD. San Joy was like damn funny when he was talking about THE S6 guy XD AND SOMEONE ate the BK burger with a fork and a knife XD. Its because that person had braces, but it was still a unique way of eating a burger so I took a pic XD. By the time when we left for the MRT station, it was already 10:15PM so I knew I would miss the last bus home... We started to take some "wild" pictures in the MRT because like no one else was on it XD. Still waiting for C.Y. to send me the pictures... XD.

Hmmm thats about it for today I guess XD.

Dead Silence

"You scream you die". Its the quote for the move Dead Silence. Watched this movie just yesterday 31st August with Aish, Amirah, Mutalib, Kamal, and Vanni just after visiting my secondary school. All the girls were scared even before we entered the theatre because of the huge Dead Silence poster at the ticket booth. When we were [finally] going in, the girls agreed NOT to scream at all during the movie. I think the little quote got to them "You scream, you die" The movie was cool. I loved when all the surroundings become dead quiet before the soul of Mary Shaw attacks. Plus, there is Billy the dummy along with 100 other dummies of Mary Shaw. There is the poem too. It goes:
Beware the strare of Mary Shaw
She had no children only dolls
And if you see her in your dreams
Besure you never scream...
Yeah this is a poem so I wrote it like a poem. Chills down your spine huh? Well basically during the movie, almost EVERYONE screamed except me... The movie was okay to me... Guess I'm kinda used to the horror movies now. I didn't get scared at all. In the theatre, everyone "died" according to the movie since they all screamed. Aish was sitting next to me and she covered her eyes most of the time. So I had to force her to put down her hands - .- Should have made a bet with her like last time when we watched Vacancy... Would have made lots of money if I did.

After the movie we all went down to Westmall Subway to eat. Only Aish and I ate, the rest didn't feel like eating. Played various games there. Like 3, 6, 9 (The Korean game where you clap when any of those three numbers come out), ABC (The slapping game MOST Koreans play), Set the tempo (The tempo thing game*) and many more. Reminded me of that time when Me, Min, Hui Min, Yun Peng, and others played in the food court in Westmall. Min came up with lots of games that time but this time it was mostly me. Had loads of fun. Aish didn't slap too hard this time during ABC so there was no competition. (Got a freaking blue bruise when I played with her the slapping game during class before... Guess its tennig's player's strength). Went home at around 6 P.M. and finished reading Harry Potter [finally...].

Hmm now back to talking about returning to Yusof. Met lots of people there. Of course the teachers since it was teacher's day and then my ex-classmates. Then saw my juniors. Suganthi looked exactly the same. So did Benjamin. Saw Mrs. Barnwell first, she wasn't surprised at all because I told her I was gonna go see her. Mr. Wong however was like "Oh hi James. Where's my present?"... It was like as if he saw me like everyday because he wasn't surprised at all. I had to tell him "Aren't you even happy to see me back?" or something like that to uh get him to greet me. He tried to hug me but I offered a handshake instead. The hug would have been a little too dramatic... Anyways, I saw some of my 4E1 friends; My number 1 Korean student Kai Kee, Peng Feng, Si Qian, etc.

So yeah, cool teacher's day. Hope all the teachers had a good time as well. Especially the teachers of 07S7 in MI.
