Musique Unifiante 2008

Musique Unifiante.
I think it stands for music (In our school) united because it was the first ever combined concert the Angklung and the Band had. I think we should do it every year in December. The theme Sleigh Ride is also good but Angklung doesn't have that much (Or none?) Christmas songs so they probably won't be able to play lots of songs. Since Angklung (AKE) is super supportive towards the band, I think the least we could do to uh "support" them is to have a combined concert with them yearly. Some may disagree with me on this though, including AKE members.

Our preparations for the concert were "intense". As the MCs said, we had practices almost everyday for 2 months from 8am to 6pm. Our practices became hardcore nearing our concert day 18/12/2008. Practices were from 8am to 8pm sometimes.
Plus we got "scolded" (More like lectured) by all our conductors at least once because the attendance was so bad. This, they had to understand as some of our band members had diploma courses which clashed with our band practice times.

Nevertheless, we managed to pull off Musique Unifiante really good. All the people I know who came down to watch the concert said the band really improved alot. Was really proud to be in MISB after hearing that.

Before the concert, when we were still having rehearsals on the stage, I wasn't feeling nervous at all. Probably because I can play the parts with my eyes closed (Memorized the piece, sorta). During our final run through, the only song that I was worried about was Short Ride In A Fast Machine. I kept thinking the band was gonna break down during the piece. The other worry was the 1st Bb Clarinet part + Eb Clarinet solo part for Jungle right after Jon's Flute solo. Since the 3 of us, Hazmi, Shi Hua, and I, were the only 3 playing the melody. Thought it would sound a bit messy because of the grace-notes. Besides that, I had confidence that we were gonna sound awesome even to the ears of non-musicians.

Straight after the rehearsal, Qiao Ying called me =D. Was really glad she came, even as a usher because when I asked Sok Theng whether she was going, I think she said she wasn't going XD. We took photos at backstage and all =). We were probably the first ones taking picture since we took even before the concert started XD. The concert was starting so she had to go to the reception counter to usher people in. I had to be ready backstage along with my band mates.

At around 7:24pm we walked in the stage. I took slight peeps at the seats and most of them were still empty. Was really disappointed then but not for long as swarms of people rushed in just before the 3rd (Last) bell went off. As the peopled walked in, I searched for my family and friends. Spotted my brother first as we also have the access to "Wonder twins power" XD. I spotted Shima as well!! I was like "Omg! I see Shima!! Shima's here!!". Hopefully for the next concert, she gets to sit with the band on stage and perform with us. I saw Wei Lian and Shiying walking in also. I'm the loyal supporter of Kim Seng Wind Symphony, and Wei Lian's the loyal supporter of Millennia Institute Symphonic Band. Wei Lian's my first ever Clarinet mentor. Then along came Mr. Lim Lip Hua to further guide me on the right path to becoming a better Clarinetist. Then along came Hazmi and Ansar too XD.
I expected people from my class like Gracie, Claudia, Jon, Shao, Shane, Liane, Gerlaine, Apple, Siva, Haikal and many more to surprise me at the concert day by showing up for the concert when they all told me they can't make it. I was expecting too much. I loved it when Gracie, Claudia, and Jasmine surprised me during the last concert, Musical Inspiration, by turning up for the concert when they said they couldn't make it. Back then, most of my classmates came over to support me. I still remember the "GO JAMES" chant they did which over-powered all other chants from the audience WAHAHA! Feeling was great of course. Its just too bad I didn't get to experience it again this concert.

Anyways, after the 3rd bell, Aaron Teo tuned the band and the MCs started the concert off by greeting the audience and by saying "Enjoy Musique Unifiante" or something. Then the lights went off and Mr. Lim Lip Hua started us off on the first piece, Short Ride In A Fast Machine. It started off great and I managed to even-out all the semi-quavers the whole Clarinet section had to play. Then after about 5 bars, the other sections came in. Everything went well for the piece. The Trumpet section solo at the "Slowly" bar was fantastic too!! I heard them play (I think I heard Hui Shi the most) while playing my own parts which means the audience could hear them clearly as well. Oh and none of my section mates got lost for this piece like for the first time!! WAHAHA!! Plus we played at a reasonable volume so that the audience could hear us faintly in the background. My brother said he heard all the parts clearly and they were all perfect XD. Short Ride In A Fast Machine is really a concert starter XD.

The next piece we played was Celebrate which was conducted by Mr. Wilson Ong. Mr. Ong's conducting was kinda different from the way he conducted us during the rehearsals. He conducted with more passion and emotion. For this song, the whole band managed to remember all the dynamic changes and didn't play wrong notes (Or at least I didn't hear any wrong notes XD). Plus all the solos were great too, especially Xian Hua's solo!!

After Celebrate, Mr. Lim came back on stage to conduct Cantilena. When I playing this piece, I really played with lots of emotion especially at the Clarinet melodies. I get really sad whenever I'm playing this piece because it reminds me of something although there is absolutely no link between that memory and this song XD. OHHHHHHHH AND I HEARD THE "Ap-ple, ba-na-na, wa-ter-mel-lon" melody AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE SONG!! XD. Super funny how Mr. Lim taught the other section the rhythm. I swear I could have burst out laughing if I wasn't concentrating and serious when I was performing on stage XD. The 5/8 bar and the 6/8 bar melodies also sounded good too. In short, perfect or excellent performance of the piece.

Next came the piece Jungle which was a little different than the other pieces we played (Conducted by Mr. Ong). Jungle is more energetic at certain parts and more calm at parts like the Flute solo by Jon. My brother said the Flute solo (By Jon) was awesome haha! Oh and the thing I worried about (The Clarinet melody being messy and loud), that was no problem either. My brother said it wasn't loud and messy at all XD. But he did say people were silently laughing when we did the monkey noise and the bird noise before the Flute solo XD. OMG I can't believe I forgot to mention the Percussion here!! =(. The rain-sticks, conga, tam-tam, cabasa, everything came in perfectly. Especially the cabasa (Right?? The "gong-like" sound before the flute solo) XD. I know because I actually smiled here when I heard everything being played perfectly XD.

Ponyo was next, and was conducted by Mr. Lim again. Lots of people liked this piece I think. Even the performers enjoyed themselves on stage (Like me XD). Hui Min's Clarinet solo and Hui Shi's Trumpet solo (Both sounds the same but at different parts) were also great! 2 thumbs up XD. I was thinking of the MV of Ponyo Jon showed me on his phone while playing the piece XD. And for this song too!! The drumset beat during the Tango part (If I'm not wrong) got the whole band going XD. I'm sure it got the audience going too because lots of them did say Ponyo was one of the pieces they liked XD.

Oh and our band performed the world premiere of Decade, composed by Mr. Wong Kah Chun. It was composed by him so he conducted the piece of course. Decade was super nice too. I mean the composition is nice but we performed it nicely as well. I squeaked during Decade. A super soft one though.. AND MY BROTHER HEARD THE SQUEAK!! -.-. Everyone makes mistakes right?... XP.

Last piece we played for the audience was Last Christmas, which was performed last year's Sleigh Ride. I thought of my previous Clarinet section... Yi Zhen, Xian Hua, Yvonne, Liyana, Mui Wen, Saw Wah, Wei Lian... Now Xian Hua's the only one still in the band with me. Oh I miss them XD.

I didn't really get to see the AKE perform.. because I had to be backstage preparing for the encore pieces. The encore piece, Suri Ram, was super fun to play because everyone was like all "not serious" and having fun haha.

After the concert everyone went crazy and started taking photos. When the AKE were doing their cheer they said something like "O~ Re O~" HAHA! After hearing that I shouted "O Re O!!" Then Hui Shi (who was just next to me) followed me then everyone followed HAHA! "O Re O" is like our band cheer now XD.

So overall, the concert was a success!!
Congratz to all the band members, guest players, teachers (Mr. Zachery Lim and Ms. Huang Shijin, and the conductors (Mr. Lim Lip Hua, Mr. Wilson Ong, Mr. Wong Kah Chun) who put in so much effort to make this concert a success =) (Especially my beloved Clarinet and Flute section~ XD).
I want to thank everyone who came down to support me/the band/the performers too =). Especially my parents because they came down to support even though they were so busy. Qiao Ying for the rose and for coming down to support me~ I was super surprised (And happy like mad) when you gave me the rose~ XD. Will never forget.. =). Oh and thanks to the supporters from Kim Seng Wind Symphony (Wei Lian and Shiying) for coming down too XD. When I said Shiying's name, my voice kinda squeaked so it sounded really funny. She nearly died laughing haha and she's still making fun of it -.-. Maybe after my A's, I'll join Kim Seng along with CY. We kinda planned it out already. Wahaha then I get to perform with Wei Lian again =D. Oh back to the "thankings". I'd like to thank OWL and Kamal for being the only 2 out of 20-something in my class to come for the concert to support me. Really appreciate it guys, you guys're the best!! Especially Kamal since he's super supportive of whatever I do XD.

Bolt

Watched Bolt with Shi Hua today!!
Actually didn't have any plans today but since I wasn't doing anything that time and since Shi Hua's friend overslept, I decided to go catch a movie with her at Cine.
Her friend is horrible!! (No offence). The friend WAY overslept -.-.

Before I left the house, Shi Hua said her phone battery was dying... Thought it would last until I got there but apparently it didn't... I called her cell right after I reached Orchard station (We were supposed to meet at Takashimaya) and got the "The Singtel customer you are calling is not available" message... I was like "Oh shit!... HER BATTERY DIED!!! How am I supposed to find her?!?!" haha. Thought she was waiting near the Orchard station so I searched like everywhere. I went to all the exits like at least 2 times before she called me using her "steam boat friend's" phone.
So lesson of the day: Always decide on the meeting place FIRST that is easy to find~~ XD.

We had a choice to watch between Bolt or Twilight. We decided on what to watch by scissors-paper-stone haha. Shi Hua won so we watched Bolt.

So, about the movie (SPOILERS AHEAD!)
The dog is freaking cute!!!! OMG. Why can't real-life dogs look like that?!
The storyline of Bolt is VERY similar to Toy Story 2.
Bolt is just a normal dog who thinks he's like a super dog who has to fight all these villains and save his person, Penny, from danger when its actually all a movie scene. Nothing's real but Bolt really thinks he has all these powers and stuff. It was really awesome in the beginning. But later on, when Bolt "ran away" it became freaking hilarious!!
I like the cat, Mittens, as well. She's like a really sweet character. Expected the hamster to be really cute but it was kinda freaky haha.
Later on in the movie, it became really sad because Bolt's character "The super dog Bolt" was replaced by another dog. So when Bolt found his way back to the movie set, he saw the other dog and Penny hugging and all. So Bolt thought she forgot all about him and stuff.

I'm lazy to describe the ending =P. I have to go sleep soon anyways. So I give the movie 5/5 stars XD. I enjoyed it so much haha =). Hope Shi Hua did too XD.
After the movie we went down to the Koufu to grab something light but ended up chatting for like 10 minutes instead as we weren't hungry and Shi Hua had to go to the steamboat with her "steamboat friends" XD.
So boring day turned to an awesome day haha =D. Thanks for calling me out!! XD

Band concert tomorrow... Hope we pull off the concert well... Hope everyone would be allowed to play the Decade piece too... Farith and So Young especially...
Can't wait for the overnight at school tomorrow after the concert!! XD.

I'm such a cry-baby -.-

I woke up crying today. Like seriously in tears and silently calling my mom...
Its because of the dream I had today... This is like the 3rd time having such a sad dream and all 3 times, I woke up crying... I thanked God it was only a dream too. First thing I did when I woke up was hug my mom.
Not gonna talk about the dream. Only God and I know about it since it was like a message from God.
I swear, if the dream comes true, I'll be a completely different James... Perhaps God is letting me have these dreams to prepare me for the worst...

Anyways, because of the dream, I decided to go to the Korean church today to accompany my mom. I figured since my dad will be having his 36 hole golf game with his friends (Its his birthday today), my mom would be all alone during mass. I wanted my bro to come along too but "his soul was sucked into the computer" <---- Tae Hyung e hyung and Sae Hyung's favourite quote HAHA!! So I took a long bus ride to my Korean church which is located right next to SMU. All my childhood memories (When I was in Singapore) are mostly from there. Back then, Wynn and Jun Yo Han were around... This time around, I had no friends there cuz Wynn went to the States and Yo Han went back to Korea. I missed them so much.
It was raining after the mass so my mom and I shared umbrellas to her office. I swear, people around said we looked like couples HAHA!! My mom will make a perfect girl friend =). My dad's so lucky. I need to find someone just like my mom. Understanding, caring, funny, loving, pretty, cute, etc. She's the whole package!! XDXD.

I have to go for band early tomorrow to find out whether ALL the members, including guest players, have their own individual scores and black files. Hope Mel comes early tomorrow too =D. Can't wait for this Thursday... I'm finally gonna be free!! =D.

Counter Stike Source: Zombie Mod, Left 4 Dead

Can anyone, and I mean ANYONE, teach me how to play the Zombie Mod in CSS??...
Oh I have to be able to play the Zombie Mod AND normal games.
And can I play Zombie Mod with bots?? PLEASE HELP!! =).
My bro finds all these ZM videos on YouTube and they look fucking fun!! =D=D.

OHHHHHHHH!!! And Left 4 Dead looks freaking awesome too!!!! I SO WANNA BUY IT!!!
I would have bought it through Steam... BUT I have to save up money for Project Origin and stuff... T^T. Left 4 Dead will have to wait...
"Don't fuck with the Witch!!" <--- haha. The Witch is my favourite "zombie" in the game. Her "cries" freaks me out. The "You Startled a Witch" message too.

P.S. Lots of hot chicks showing up in Westmall these days =D=D. Especially near the Breadtalk area where the clothes and all are sold at XD. I'm gonna go to Westmall almost everyday to buy my Milos and the Almond Chocolate she told me about =).

Upcoming Band Concert

You shouldn't expect too much in life. The more you expect, the more disappointed you get.

I asked my classmates and my close friends whether they were free on the 18th for my band concert. It was the second time asking for some. First reply was from Liyana via Facebook wall message. She said she can't make it because she have something on that day. I was super sad (See Facebook Status Update) but "Look on the bright side" being my favourite quote/moto, I just thought 'Oh well, at least she came for the previous concerts' and didn't really bother. I mean if she can't come, she can't come. Nothing I can do.
Most of my classmates can't come too. Most of them have something on that day. Or maybe just not interested. Maybe both. I don't know. So far, of the 40+ SMSes I sent, Yi Xian (Still going? =P), Kamal, Crystal, Siva, Wei Lee, and Wei Lian are the ones who confirmed with me that they are going for the concert (My bad if I left out names). Hope other band memebers are having better luck in selling their tickets. I really really hope it'll seriously be a full house this time... Always do.

The band is sounding better and better these days. Well at least better than how we sounded at the previous concert =S. I still hear quite a number of wrong notes though, whenever I'm in front of the stage arranging scores and all. Oh well, practice makes perfect, so... P R A C T I C E ! ! !

P.S. You completely forgot about me already =(

Standard Chartered, Philharmonic Winds Concert

Yesterday...
I COMPLETED RUNNING THE 42.195KM MARATHON!! OMGOMGOMG =D

Reported at 5:25am at the starting point to meet Shane, Siva and Kamal. Haikal, Shao and Jon didn't come -.-.
The 4 of us, had no actual trainings at all. To train for 42km marathon in my opinion, you have to run at least 4km everyday. Reason why I didn't train? B A N D.

So the race started and Siva was running with his bag... So I gave him my bag too HAHA! =P.
The four of us ran together until like the 2-3k marker. Then Siva decided to walk while the 3 of us carried on jogging.
Near the 5k marker, I lost both Shane and Kamal. Kamal ran ahead since he's a super fit long distance runner, and Shane told me he was resting a bit so I ran ahead. It was my MP3 time from then. I would have been super bored if I didn't bring my MP3 along...

I didn't stop jogging besides the times when I had to stretch or to stop for drinks at the drink stations. After running for long, I thought I ran at least 13km. When I saw the 10km marker ahead of me, the first thought I got was 'Oh man, you're ass fucked James'. I jogged at a very constant pace though, until I reached ECP. Decided to take short walks for 2 minutes before jogging again for 1km. I used my MP3 as a timer so I listened to my songs for 2 minutes before running.

ECP was super depressing... It never seemed to end. Somewhere in ECP, I started having foot cramps. My legs were still okay then. Due to the foot cramps, my pace slowed down like alot. In the middle of ECP, I had to take a long rest because my left leg was cramping. Foot cramp + leg cramps = killer combi. Thats Keng Guan saw me haha. I was still stretching so he went on ahead. After the stretch, I continued to walk because the foot cramp was seriously unbearable... While walking I saw Sylvia (Is that how her name is spelled?) running ahead of me. It was like 22km marker and she was still running... *Salutes*.

Well, eventually I caught up with Keng Guan at around the 24km marker (Not 27km marker... My bad). We both still had a bit of energy left to jog short distances. I think after 27km marker we didn't even have the energy to walk... We slow jogged from the "Drink Station Ahead" signs to the drink stations. Then took a short break before walking again. We were so glad when we saw the 30km marker. We walked and talked all the way until we reached the F1 tracks (40km marker). Thats when I started regaining my energy to jog again. Keng still couldn't jog because he injured his left knee before I met him. We walked until the very last 195 meters. Thats when I started my sprint. Its like my "tradition" to sprint to the finishing line. I am a sprinter anyways... I was so glad I got to run to the finishing line and not drag myself to it. Keng too.
Keng was super supportive throughout the marathon. Plus he kept me company so salutes to Keng Guan too =). We took 8 hours to finish the marathon... I HAD NO TRAINING BY THE WAY~ =P.
Oh during the race, when I was still running, I saw this quote on someone's jersey: "Jesus loves you. Run to him". After reading this, I was like "I HAVE TO RUN!!!!" haha. It was the most encouraging thing I ever read during the marathon.
Oh and another thing. I saw dopplegangers of Gerlaine and Audrey during the race!! Kinda freaky. It was like "Hey! I see Gerlaine/Audrey!" *Looks somewhere else for 1 second then looks back* "Hey... Where did Gerlaine/Audrey go??...".

So after finishing the race, I got my finisher's t-shirt and the medals after handing in the championchips. I had 2 (One for myself and one for Shao Wei) so the dude who was collecting championchips was confused. I kinda mumbled that I picked it up from the ground HAHA! I didn't get 2 shirts though cuz they needed the bib number...
I didn't see any of the helpers like Qiao Ying, Cindy, Shima, Hui Shi, etc during the race either... The only people I know whom I saw during the race were Shane, Siva, and Gerlaine...
I met Kamal after the race, who finished the race in 5 hours and 30 minutes... Salutes to him too XD. I thought I had to wait for Shane and Siva to finish since they had my bag and phone but apparently, Siva finished before me so all my belongings were with Kamal. I was like "How the hell did Siva finish before me?" haha. I mean he ran with his bag!! -.-.
I called Gerlaine and Gracie too to check on them where they were but apparently Gerlaine was still running with her phone was off and Gracie's phone battery was dead -.-.
Oh and by the way, Audrey didn't run the race... She had back injury so she couldn't run... Hope she's 200% fit for the marathon next year since she missed it this year!!

Anyways, to conclude the 42.195km marathon, I'll have to say it was the biggest ass fuck I have ever had in my life... Need to have guts, the strength, and the will-power to run that. I'm glad I finished it even though I probably walked half the marathon =P.

On to my next topic: Phil Winds concert.

Guess what? It was on the same day as the marathon... I was always half dead when I reached the Esplanade AGAIN at 7pm... People who turned up were Mr. Zach Lim, C.Y., Shi Hua, Pei Qi, Jean, Eileen, Yvonne, and Keng Guan (Again also) haha. Keng and I were seriously half dead. Plus we were a bit feverish -.-.

Phil Winds concert was awesome as always. It was Mr. Leonard Tan's (Our previous MI conductor) last concert with the Phil Winds... Super sad to see him and Mrs. Tan AKA Ms. Wee leave... He's such an awesome conductor! I want to learn from him haha. I realised I could learn from him just by going to Phil Winds concerts last year so I tried my best to go to every Phil Winds concert since last year. Of course because our Mr. Lim Lip Hua and Mr. Desmond Chow were performing too =).

The repertoire for the concert were all classical songs. Quite a big change from their previous concert "Phil Winds goes Pop". The first piece they played "The Earle of Oxford's Marche", my all time favourite song, brought lots of memories. Its probably the only song I remember playing when I was still in Singapore American School =D. Other pieces like "Music for Prague 1968" and "La Fiesta Mexicana" were awesome too. The Saxophone solo too. Wow, breath-taking... Combination of what it seemed like demi-semi-quavers plus double tongue pulled off perfectly!! Vincent Gnojek - Truly an awesome Saxophonist.
Oh the Chimes played by our very own, Ms. Wee was super good too when they were performing "La Fiesta Mexicana". When I told C.Y., he was like "Of course! Ms. Wee is playing it!" XD.

We waited for Mr. Lim to come out after the concert. He didn't take his time to pack things this time cuz I messaged him XD. Or else he would have took at least 25 minutes to pack his things haha. He came out covering his face with his concert attire HAHA!! Group photo with him on Facebook!! All thanks to Jean for the camera and Shi Hua for posting it on Facebook =).
Mr. Desmond Chow, the solo Clarinetist in Phil Wind, didn't come out for a long time again... Probably because he's the Phil Winds website manager (If I'm not wrong...). I wonder whether he still remembers me. Gonna have to ask Mr. Lim to ask him whether he does remembers me or not XD.
I didn't get a chance to say bye to Mr. Tan and Mrs. Tan. They were too busy (Has lots of supporters). I'll see the both of them during our concert anyways =).

I wonder who's gonna conduct the Phil Winds now since Mr. Tan is leaving... I'm so gonna miss him and watching his conducting T^T.

Anyways, long live Phil Winds and all the best to Mr. Leonard Tan in the states!~

So that concludes yesterday. Nothing much today except taking more than 50 steps just to walk like 3 meters XD.
Oh and thanks again to Keng Guan and Shi Hua for their concern~ =). Love you guys!! =).

Tomorrow's the day my wife and I will be united again!! Can't wait!! =D=D

P.S. Thanks for the energy boost =)

OH NO!! MY WIFEY!!!!

O M G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll seriously make a horrible boy friend!! T^T.
I left my darling Clarinet in the Center Stage today after band practice!!!! ='(.
I miss you Clare!! I want to hold you in my arms!!!! T^T.

My Clarinet is my wife. AND I forgot... Since my Clarinet's gonna be left all alone for 3 days, its like the same scenario as a guy ditching his loved one for 3 days!! =(.
I'm super sad... And feel so insecure... The only people who has access to Center Stage are the teachers, the staffs, and the cleaners...

If teachers or staffs find it, they'll probably tell Mr. Zach Lim that they found a band instrument. IF cleaners find it though... I don't know what they'll do... FUCK!!!!

It's all my fault... Stupid me. Fucktard me. Forgettful, irresponsible, etc.

I prayed to God today in church. My Clarinet was the only thing I could think of after band practice. Lunch with Edward, Jojo and Mel kept my mind off it for like 30 minutes since we were all LOFAO (Laughing our fucking ass off).
Edward is super funny!! Jo and Mel got cramps cuz they laughed too much again. Same as when Jerrold was around.

P.S. I wish I had like 100 cupid arrows that'll make people fall madly in love forever with the first opposite gender they see. So I have 99 backups in case the first one doesn't work XP. My wild fantasy.

You, me and an angel with a cupid arrow. How I wish...

P.P.S I MISS MY CLARE!! =(

Destroyed my laptop!!..., Congratz to TH!!

I think people will think I'm a very violent person after reading this post...

Here's what happened.

I played a Starcraft match with my brother on my lap top. My brother uses the desk top cuz he can't play on the lappy. So after the match, we decided to take a short break to grab something to eat and left our computers on. When I was preparing my noodles or whatever (Don't remember what I ate that day), the lappy freaking restarted for no reason. I had absolutely no problem with that cuz the lappy starts pretty fast. So when I came back, I had to do the "Ctrl + Alt + Tab" to bring up the task manager so I could close all the shitty software that makes the laptop lag. When I closed the task manager, the laptop froze again. I waited for like 5 minutes until the laptop made the "error" noise over and over again. I got seriously pissed and slammed my fist on the laptop like 15 times before switching it off -.-. You people can say its how James takes out his anger. I tried turning it on straight away cuz my brother was waiting for me to join the game. The laptop didn't turn on... So I got more pissed I punched it like lots more times. I even wanted to throw it on the floor (Didn't do it cuz my CD was inside). Stupid laptop. I'm damn sad now though =(. My laptop needs Tae Hyung e hyung's miracle touch XD.

Only my family members seen the "bad/violent" side of me.
Mainly cuz I usually smile/laugh when I'm outside (Besides the times when I emo).
Maybe I shouldn't keep everything inside for a long time before "unleashing" them on something or someone who did nothing wrong -.-.
And stupid me, I just HAD to punch it with my right fist... I broke a freaking thick protector screen before with a single punch before!! Just imagine the damage it caused to the laptop's interior.

Okay, moving on (Zane's favourite quote last time XD).

TAE HYUNG E HYUNG IS FINALLY DONE WITH NS!!!! =D. Thats what the "congratz" is about =D. We're probablly gonna hang out everyday after my concert or something =D.
Badminton, squash, visit to Signature park, Movie marathon, PC 방 (LAN shop), sleep over? HAHA!!

P.S. Why do I miss you so much?...

Quarantine

Watched Quarantine today!! Like finally!! =D.
I wanted to watch it the day it came out actually...
Sorry Jo! I couldn't wait! But I'd rather watch a funny animation movie with you guys (Like Kung Fu Panda) than watch a horror/gore movie~

Gracie planned the thing cuz I forced her =D. She asked lots of people and I thought those people were gonna turn up for the movie so I brought my camera along. Met up with Shane, Jon, Saw Wah, Gracie and Claudia at BK in Westmall to have lunch first. Then, to my surprise, Jon, Shane and Saw Wah left!! =.-. So Gracie, Claudia and I were the only 3 watching the movie.
Its okay though since we had a great time just by ourselves =P.
Wah, but Gracie's super picky!! She wanted to go to a Cathay Cineplex that was not in town and where there was Ben & Jerry's nearby. I couldn't think of any place so we just went to Plaza Sing XD.

Before the movie started, we went "food hunting" at Plaza Sing because Gracie loves food -.-.
Ya so we bought food from Carrefour and smuggled them into the cinema.
Before the movie started, we saw the "Yes Man" commercial. Its looks super funny!!!! WAHAHA! Who wants to go watch?!?! I'm free everyday after the 18th December XDXD.
And so, the movie started. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD =P
The movie started with the reporter filming a documentary on the everday life of the fire-fighters. All was good until the fire-fighters they were assigned to got an emergency call. Apparently the neighbours at this really old appartment called the fire department cuz they heard this old lady scream with an "un-human-like screech" or whatever. There were 2 cops already in the scene but they had to wait for the fire fighters to bust the door open. I forgot the old lady's name but apparently she was "infected" with this special rabies virus (Which is explained later on in the movie). So the police went into "help" the old woman even though she had blood stained all over her night gown and had white foams coming out of her mouth -.-. Seriously, if I was the policeman, I would have shot her straight away CUZ I would have known that she was a zombie already (Watched too much zombie movies). I would have shot the little girl, the other policeman who got bitten, the firefighter, the other teenage girl who looked grossly sick, etc. The later part of the movie was all about them trying to find a way out of the building, trying to survive, and etc.
Some gory scenes in the movie: When the fire fighter who was bitten walked out of the little room with his left leg dangling (Because the bone was like almost completely broken), and when the "CDC" people (I forgot what they stand for) drilled a hole in the fire fighter's head to get a brain sample.
Some "surprising" scenes were: When the camera man was looking into the attic, when the little girl suddenly attacked her mom -.-
There was a bit of suspense too when the vet-dude found out that it was rabies.
I don't understand why some people give the movie a negative rating (according to Zane)... The movie was both funny, and thrilling!! I give it a 4/5 stars. The camera wasn't so shaky as compared to Cloverfield too so Siva can go watch without vomitting probably =P.

After the movie we went to eat Hokkien Mee at a food court near Gracie's house cuz she said it was "good". First time trying a Hokkien Mee, and I liked it!! =D. Kelly joined us after her AKE practice too. She was super tired haha.
Ya, so thanks to Gracie, Claudia, and Kelly for making today super fun~ =D.

P.S. Jo! Lets go watch Bolt together with our band mates =D. Oh and there has to be drinks!! XD. And Claudia! Lets go watch Yes Man after my band concert PLEASE!! =D. This time I'll organize~ HAHA!!

SHUT UP.
