MI Orientation

As most of you all know, I'm posted to MI. On Wednesday we had our first orientation there. First day of orientation was okay since I got to meet new friends like Dina, Hanafie, Joelim, Mavrick, Bernard, Heyma, Atiqah, etc. The campus itself was great too. A little bit too plain though. Like there were no tables and chairs to sit on. Classrooms were half the size of YI's but much more cleaner (since its new). Quite a number of people from YI went there. Met Maxime, Mirna, Raziah, Joanne, Nani, Michelle, Jie Lun, Sok Theng, Stephanie, and a few more. After the first day was over I had dinner with Maxime, Mirna, and Raziah at the nearby Mac after a tiring day.

Second day was the most fun day out of all 3 days. First of all I got to know my new friends even more since we were divided into groups depending on which stream we were in (Science/Arts/Commerce). Once all the science people came together, we all started like discussing about science. Provided quite a lot of knowledge myself since there were only 2 people (including me) who took Biology. The sample lectures came after. Went to the H2 level math lecture with Sok Theng. I listened all the way while Sok Theng kept on falling asleep heh. Realised that if I didn't do any A Maths during the long holiday, I wouldn't be able to catch up. Need extra tuition to guide me still. Went for my second lecture which was Chemistry. The teacher was very nice and made lots of jokes to keep us awake. H2 Chemistry was also okay to me. The sample question asked about "Lattice Energy" and some other stuff about Enthalpy changes and this law (can't remember...). The lectures ended at 4 pm and most of my YI friends had left since there were only games remaining. Had the "MI dance" which was quite fun dancing infront of your parents (XD), and there was the "Mystery Game" where we were supposed to go to various places to find the suspect who murdered this student in MI. Their actings were kick ass, especially my group leader. She acted as a crazy lunatic sister of the victim. Then it was home sweet home at around 9 pm.

Third day was nothing much. Met Sok Theng and Stephanie at Mac to have our breakfast first before going to school at 8 am. We had our diciplinary talks and guess what? The dicipline master reminded me of Mr. Adam. Their tone was like the same but the MI dicipline master is a Chinese. After the diciplinary talks the students handed in their subject choices to the group teacher. I chose H2 Math, H2 Chem, H2 Bio. I won't give up my Pharmacy dreams. I have to work EXTRA hard though but I'm mentally prepared for it. Our group teacher is an Indian and he reminded me of Umesh. I wonder whether I can teach the teacher about the "Hello I'm diva" thing >:).

Its too bad that Mei Hui and Wei Jian appealed out -_-. Gonna be hard to find new friends in MI with their type of personalities T_T. Gonna miss you guys :(. Take care.

SHUT UP.
