Death Note, and F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate

Yesterday was the first time watching the movie Death Note for me because I missed the first 2 Death Note movies. I thought I was gonna have a hard time understanding what the hell was going on but thanks to Tae Hyung e hyung, I understood the story line perfectly. His brief 3 minute summary of the first 2 movies told me all the points I needed to know to understand the third movie.

So the movie kicked start and I finally got to see the actor who was acting as "L". My first impression of him was "Wow, I think he'll be unbeatable in a fight". Besides that, L seemed like a dark character who didn't give a shit about anyone else. Thought he was a selfish SOB who uses the Death Note to kill whoever he wanted haha. He turned out to be a completely different character from what I expected. In the end he was still dark/emo but cool at the same time (Well most guys are like that. Right? XD). He had a big heart and was very caring although he didn't really show it to his peers (Maybe because of his looks...).

Enough about L. In the movie, I didn't like it when L burned the Death Note after writing his name in it. With the Death Note, he could have just killed all 5 bad guys at the same time. My friends were right. It was a "L movie" NOT "Death Note" since the death note only appeared in the movie for like 5 minutes... I hated the reason behind why the "bad guys" wanted to spread the disease. It was seriously a "what the fuck?" scene during the movie. I literally said it out loud for everyone to hear. They wanted to what? Build a new ecosystem? What the fuck? Seriously. What a lame reason.

Alright besides the retarded/fucked up reason, the movie was funny overall. Of course with Tae Hyung e hyung, every movie becomes funny XD. I spotted quite a lot of mistakes during, and I mean DURING the movie. One scene, when the girl (Maki) was getting the injection, the needle didn't even go close to her skin nor her arm. The other scene was when the crazy bitch (one of the bad guys) stabbed one of the scientists on their way to the lab. The knife CLEARLY struck the person's left shoulder BUT the dude had blood stains on his heart. I'm not saying the movie's a failure because of the mistakes. I'm just saying its funny XD. Speaking of the Maki girl, in the movie, she was freaky. Especially because she reminded all of us of Alma in F.E.A.R.. "The 9 year old girl in red dress".

So thats the movie. It was okay (except the reasons to spread the virus) so go watch! I REALLY wanted L to fight physically though. Like jump around, kick, punch etc. Oh well.

Moving on to the next topic. As you all know, my older brother Tae Hyung e hyung bought me all 3 F.E.A.R. games for my birthday. I've completed the original and the first expansion pack. Second expansion pack now is being a major pain in the ass. The second expansion pack is mostly during the events of the first expansion pack, Extraction Point. The explosion have allowed all the "creatures from the dark" to come out to Earth and wreck havok. If I played Perseus Mandate without any F.E.A.R. background, then I would have had a heart attack. Thanks to F.E.A.R. and Extraction Point, I can now face spirits with no problem at all. Alma however, is still a threat. Fettel (Alma's second son/second prototype) is still at large and is after me. I lost my teammate, Lieutanent Chen. It was kinda sad to see him die like that even though it was just a game. He later appeared right behind me as a zombie looking spirit and scared the hell out of me though.

After I finish Perseus Mandate, I'll probably write a summary of the storyline in F.E.A.R..
P.S. the quote "The dead stay dead..." from F.E.A.R. = BULLSHIT! Haha.

SHUT UP.
