Band Practice(s)
Today's band practice was so tiring!! Well at least to me cuz I didn't get enough sleep (Slept at 3am).
Worked on Celebrate and Jungle today. Jungle's such an awesome piece to play (Because I play 1st Clarinet =P). Mr. Ong told us (Clarinet section) to work on the semi-quavers for Celebrate before we had to do sectionals. I took sectionals today since I was lazy to photocopy scores. The semi-quavers in Celebrate would be much easier if the notes are not tied... From 3rd beat, 3 semi-quavers are tied, then another 3, then 2 by it self and accented... Gotta practice alot... We decided to split parts so like it would sound as if we're passing the music around. Gotta make sure we play as smoothly as possible. So ya, sectionals was awesome today. Had to raise my voice though cuz it was so noisy with the brass practicing their own parts and all. I got to conduct again! =D. I always feel like being the Student Conductor these days instead of being a Librarian. I mean I did learn conducting (Although some people are not familiar with my conducting... -.-) =P.
And~ Special thanks to Shi Hua for that SMS today!! XD. It actually made me LOL =D. Haha thanks to you too for being so patient with my teaching haha (Like I said through SMS =D). And don't practice so hard until your teeth hurts okay?? =).
Oh and I kept squeaking today!! Its either my 7 year old Clarie or the reed... I hope its my reed... Don't want to send my Clarie for repair for the first time. I took such good care of it for 7 years now! I rock!
So, after the band practice, Mr. Zachery Lim ordered us "Chewy Juniors" because of our commitment to band. Clarinet section got 2 each cuz MOST of us turn up for band practices everytime, and on time as well. Not only the Clare section, but others too of course haha. The usual people who turn up for practices. Edward got to eat 3 pieces!! The 3rd piece he ate was actually supposed to be Mr. Lim's if I'm not wrong since Ms. Huang couldn't eat haha! =P.
Anyways, my fringe is annoying the living hell out of me these days... I so need a hairclip (Following SOMEONE's advice =P). Get me a hair clip people! =P. Why're you laughing? I'm serious! Or a hair band too. I don't mind.
I remember Hui Min (From YISS 4E1) say I look as if I'm literally sick/ill/diseased cuz of my long hair haha! Ouch.
I don't look like that right?! =S. Hmmm but I prefer to be called "a guy who looks as if he's gonna die of disease" than a freaking "geek". Please! I'm not a geek! If you think I am, then you don't know me well at all -.-
I'm just smart and good looking thats all =). HAHA! Jk!
P.S. I want to go out with you! =S
