Standard Chartered Marathon, Tiring band practices
3 things that are bothering me like hell these days
I heard from Kamal that the run shit was in early December...
I'm freaking running 42km and I didn't start training yet... Guess I'll walk lots of times.
To whoever reads my blog in my class, wanna go to East Coast and run our asses off? It'll be a great "diet" plan for those on diet too (Siva).
I guess you guys are okay with any day... I'm the problem huh? Because of my fucked up band schedule -.-... How about this coming Saturday? From like 4pm to 7pm?? Then we can have dinner, go to Jon's house, etc =D.
Or we can just meet in school and run around the track (Cuz its close to my house =D).
Oh ya and people! 18th December is my band concert!! Come support yeah? =).
Some people MUST come =P.
And spread the word too!!
Problems I face in band: being a section leader AND a librarian at the same time.
Pros and cons of being a section leader:
Pros: None
Cons: Teachers come after me when members are not turning up (HAHA! Makes me feel guilty), lots of things to do like arranging parts and making sure everyone has equal number of 1st Clarinet parts... (Can we drop the switch-part-for-every-song system?... I want to play 1st all the way =P), have to message members before the day of the band practice to remind them to blah blah blah...
Of course I have assistants but it still gets tiring working double posts. (I hope Saw Wah and Yvonne agree with me for the pros and cons part since they were SLs too XD)
Yeah, and so being the librarian also, I have to go for band practices early to photocopy scores and stuff... With So Young not around I have no one to push my tasks to since Mel's always so busy with percussion stuff [Not blaming her =)].
I can't wait til I step down from the double post, which will be like after the SYF next year. Therefore, I can't wait til SYF next year =P.
P.S. Am I being ignored?...
